At the age of 84, Clint Eastwood continues to be one of the most prolific talents in Hollywood, releasing Jersey Boys this summer and recently wrapping the Bradley Cooper-led American Sniper for a December 25th release. Today brings a look back at the role that would define him, as the Man With No Name in Sergio Leone‘s A Fistful of Dollars.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary next month, it recently was restored thanks to Cineteca Di Bologna, and a Tarantino-attended screening was held at Cannes. New outtakes have now surfaced from the set, which reveal candid moments with Eastwood and his cast, along with Leone popping the background. Check them out below (one can even see the original title, Ray El Magnifico, on the clapperboard), and head over to SWDB for a detailed rundown of the outtakes.
The Man With No Name Trilogy is available on Blu-ray.
