After Entertainment Tonight ruined the trailer premiere of Bennett Miller‘s Moneyball, we now have a version in all of its intact glory. The Capote director took over the film after Steven Soderbergh dropped last minute and the drama, written by this year’s The Social Network Oscar-winner Aaron Sorkin, is based on Michael Lewis‘ nonfiction bestseller Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game. It stars Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Robin Wright, Stephen Bishop, Kathyrn Morris, and Chris Pratt.

This trailer confirms it is one of our most-anticipated films of the year. As someone who isn’t the slightest fan of baseball, there seems to be a lot more going in here than just the sport at hand. Sorkin crafted the finest screenplay of last year with David Fincher‘s film and I’m quite looking forward to seeing how another director handles his style. Jonah Hill also looks particularly fantastic as Pitt’s co-lead.

Synopsis:
