According to THR, John Michael Higgins, star of The Break Up and Yes Man, is to join Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson in the new Cameron Crowe directed movie, We Bought a Zoo.
The film, based on the memoirs of Benjamin Mee, follows Mee (played by Matt Damon) as he uses his life savings to purchase a zoo in England.
Higgins is expected to play the zoo inspector who isn’t exactly best friends with Mee and causes him some extra angst. The film is set to co-star Thomas Hayden Church, Patrick Fugit, Angus Macfadyen and Elle Fanning. Shooting for the Rick and Julie Yorn produced movie begins in L.A. in the next week.
