So, remember when J.J. Abrams said there would be no more new trailers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens? It looks like he didn’t take in account international marketing (aka the audience likely responsible for the bulk of the film’s profits). Today we have a new international trailer that brings the most revealing footage yet, featuring some gorgeous vistas, more BB-8, Princess Leia, some lightsaber action, and much more.
Picking up three decades after Return of the Jedi and featuring franchise newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, and Gwendoline Christie — with Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker returning — check it out below, including a new international poster and the character set if you missed them.
