It’s always a good time for cinema when we get a new creation from the inventive mind of Terry Gilliam and with it being around four years since The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, his next film will finally be arriving momentarily. Although it’s been a leaky ship (with a trailer and image promptly getting taken down), our first official look at The Zero Theorem has arrived.
Featuring our lead Christoph Waltz, along with Ben Whishaw, Sanjeev Bhaskar and what looks to be a bearded Peter Stormare, these photos from Empire paint a colorful, vivid setting that we can’t wait to dive into. Speaking to the magazine, Gilliam said the film is not sci-fi and adding, “it’s like Brazil, which also isn’t really” in that genre.
