Following yesterday’s Cannes Critics Week line-up, today brings the slate for another sidebar at the festival, the Directors’ Fortnight. With Philippe Garrel‘s In the Shadow of Women set to open, Miguel Gomes‘ 6-hour, three part Arabian Nights will screen along with the next films from Mr. Nobody director Jaco Van Dormael, Blue Ruin‘s Jeremy Saulnier, Takashi Miike (trailer here), and closing things out with the Sundance hit Dope (our review).
Check out the line-up below, followed by the first images (via CineMaldito) of the directorial debut of Laszlo Nemes (who assisted Béla Tarr), Son of Saul, which is part of the Palme d’Or competition slate.
