Bond is back. With Sam Mendes returning to direct, those behind Bond 24 held a press conference early this morning to unveil the first official details of the film that’ll arrive later next year. As expected, Daniel Craig will be returning in the lead role in the film titled Spectre (the name for the global terrorist organization in the books: Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), while Rory Kinnear is back as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, and Ralph Fiennes as M.
New to the cast will be Sherlock star Andrew Scott as Denbigh (part of MI5), Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista as likely henchman Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Bond girl Lucia Sciarra along with Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, as well as Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser (not Blofeld, as rumors suggested). Shot by Interstellar and Her‘s Hoyte Van Hoytema, the production will take the crew to Pinewood London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee, Austria.
