The warm-up to the Oscars aka The Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s Golden Globes handed out their nominations early this morning. Leading the pack was Birdman, which picked up seven nominations, while Boyhood and The Imitation Game were close to the pack with five a piece.
Out of the surprises, Unbroken was completely shut out of the nominations, while Julianne Moore got nominations for both Still Alice and Maps to the Stars. Meanwhile, Ida, Force Majeure, and Leviathan all got recognized in the foreign film category. Hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the ceremony airs on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST on NBC. Check out the full list of nominations below.
