I guess it is about time to have a film-related exclusive coming out of Canada. Found on Vivafilm (via Dread Central), comes a brand new trailer for Wes Craven‘s fourth entry into the Scream series. Check out the trailer below, which features quite different footage from the original teaser, and see some early buzz from test screenings over at /Film.

The horror comedy scripted by series vet Kevin Williamson boasts large cast of both returning a new players including Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox Arquette, Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Marielle Jaffe, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Erik Knudsen, Marley Shelton, Anthony Anderson, Adam Brody, Alison Brie, Mary McDonnell, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, and Brittany Roberts.

Synopsis: Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), now the author of a self-help book, returns home to Woodsboro on the last stop of her book tour. There she reconnects with Sheriff Dewey (David Arquette) and Gale (Courteney Cox), who are now married, as well as her cousin Jill (Emma Roberts) and her Aunt Kate (Mary McDonnell). Unfortunately Sidney’s appearance also brings about the return of Ghostface, putting Sidney, Gale, and Dewey, along with Jill, her friends, and the whole town of Woodsboro in danger.

Scream 4 hits theaters April 15th.
