If you like romantic comedies then these past 24 hours have been your own personal heaven. I’m not going to list them all here, but you can check them out on this page. The latest is the first trailer, a red band at that, for Will Gluck‘s Friends With Benefits. Although his latest movie, Easy A, received wild praise, I thought it was pretty average. His next looks to follow the same pattern. There are a few funny jokes, but it looks like a film we’ve seen 1000x over. It’s also a shame after Timberlake gave his best performance in The Social Network, he does this. It also stars Patricia Clarkson, Jenna Elfman, Bryan Greenberg, Emma Stone, Richard Jenkins and Woody Harrelson. Check it out below via Moviefone.
Synopsis: A young female headhunter (Kunis) in New York convinces a potential recruit (Timberlake) to leave his job in San Francisco behind and accept a job in the big apple. Despite an attraction to each other, both realize they’re everything they’ve been running from in a relationship and decide to become friends… with benefits. It’s the perfect arrangement–until they realize there’s no such thing as no strings attached.
Friends With Benefits hits theaters July 22nd, 2011 next to Captain America: The First Avenger.
