Steve Carell and Tina Fey helped Date Night vault to a strong opening weekend, as it barely nudged out runner-up Clash of the Titans. Fox‘s adventure comedy brought in $27.1 million in its debut weekend, just ahead of Clash of the Titans‘ $26.8 million second weekend. These are just estimates and tomorrow we could see Titans come back to reign supreme. Check out the rest of the box office below.

DreamworksHow To Train Your Dragon continued its strong run, finishing third on the weekend, adding another $25.3 million to its impressive $133.8 million three-week total.

Alice In Wonderland is starting to fade in its sixth weekend. It dropped almost 32%, earning only $5.6 million. This brings Tim Burton‘s total to $319.3 million domestically.

Of note, the Christian themed inspirational flick Letters To God also debuted in tenth, despite a limited release. It brought in $1.1 million in its opening weekend.
