With Sherlock Holmes 3 still in the planning stages, this should do for now. Cross-overs between the videogame and Hollywood world, especially with top talent in both, are becoming more and more frequent — just look at the David Fincher-produced Halo 4 commercial and Michael Fassbender‘s upcoming Assassin’s Creed. For another major videogame release, director Guy Ritchie got together with his Holmes star Robert Downey Jr., as well The Intouchables lead Omar Sy.
The spot, for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, only runs just over a minute, but it is a fittingly frenetic look at the upcoming game, showing off the array of weaponry available. There’s also more talent involved behind the scenes here, as screenwriter David Goyer had a hand in the script, and voice work coming from Sam Worthington and Michael Rooker, as well as Oscar-winner Trent Reznor and Jack Wall being credited with the score. Check it out below.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II arrives on November 13th.
