The BBC sure wants to know about Toy Story 4. Less than a month ago they got Woody (Tom Hanks) to spill the beans on a fourth entry into Pixar’s massively popular series. Now, during the UK opening for Cars 2, they’ve prodded chief creative officer of Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios, John Lasseter, on his thoughts and it made for an awkward answer. By completely dodging a reply and saying “we have announced anything,” instead of flat-out denying it certainly raises some questions.

Stay tuned for updates on the likely sequel to the $1+ billion 2009 hit, but we also have a neat documentary to go along with the above video. Titled A Day in a Life, this 25-minute documentary follows Lasseter in his daily activities and it is surprisingly entertaining. The man is busy from the moment he wakes up until he lays his head on his pillow. Stitch Kingdom has his itinerary in photos, but you can see the video below in today’s Daily Distraction.
Cars 2 is now in theaters and Pixar’s next effort will be Brave (teaser here), coming June 2012.
What do you think about the prospects of a fourth Toy Story?
