Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will make his directorial debut, an R-rated comedy titled Ted. Deadline reports Universal will produce the live action and CG mixed story about “a man and his teddy bear” (voiced by MacFarlane). He also wrote the script with Family Guy pals Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
They are shooting to start production this year, but MacFarlane has a grueling schedule overseeing Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and American Dad while also providing the majority of the voices.
I used to the biggest Family Guy fan in the world and now I unfortunately despise the show. I hope MacFarlane can provide something new with this feature film but if his style stays the same I’m not looking forward to this project too much.
Do you still enjoy Family Guy? Do you want to see a feature film from MacFarlane?
