With Fantastic Fest kicking off tomorrow, Austin is about to get a whirlwind of blood, guts, sci-fi and scares — and today we’ve got previews of four different features that will offer up all that and more. First we’ve got the trailer for The Collection, a follow-up to Saw IV-VI co-writer Marcus Dunstan‘s The Collector. From the first insane-looking party massacre scene, this one will certainly pack all the blood you need and for those not at FF, it also opens on November 30th in theaters.
Then we’ve got the first trailer for James Nunn‘s Tower Block, which sees a group of people fend off a sniper. Taking a riff on both The Raid and Attack the Block, this actually could be a suspenseful thriller. Following that, there’s a trailer for a rerelease of Y.K. Kim and Woo-sang Park’s 1987 film Miami Connection, which any fans of films that fully embrace the 1980s aesthetic should love.
Lastly, the first mysterious trailer for Christopher MacBride‘s documentary The Conspiracy has arrived. Instead of the violence-filled other titles in the festival, this one asks what happens when the subject of your documentary goes missing.
