If one takes a gander over at Tom Sizemore‘s IMDb page, the actor may seem like the hardest worker in Hollywood, as over twenty projects are in some state of production. But, as if he hasn’t attached himself to enough, we’ve just learned that he’s adding yet another movie to his filmography. According to Variety, Sizemore will be leading the coming-of-age political comedy, Three Pegs.
Jac Mulder will be directing the project from a script he co-wrote with Ziggy Darwish. Richard Lackey, Leigh Ferierra and Yola Raydan are producing. The political comedy “centers on three enemy soldiers — an Israeli, an American and an Australian Arab — who are accidentally locked in a Middle East military communication base where things go horribly wrong.” It’s difficult to tell how the humor element will be inserted in here, but, to give the benefit of the doubt, the synopsis is a bit lacking.
Among the various projects Sizemore will be seen in include, John Herzfeld‘s Reach Me, which he stars alongside Sylvester Stallone, Kevin Connolly and Kyra Sedgwick; Daggen Merrill‘s Deep Burial; as well as Cellmates and Company of Heroes.
Shooting for Three Pegs has already started in Cape Town, South Africa.
Any thoughts on the latest political comedy?
