If you enjoy Navy SEALs recruitment videos, generic action and cliche plots, I don’t think you can do better next year than Act of Valor. With each new trailer, Relativity is trying to convince us there is an actual plot worth caring about, but not one, but two lines stating that the event is “bigger than they ever imagined” isn’t helping. I honestly don’t see the appeal of this, but action junkies may feel different. Written by Kurt Johnstad (300) and directed by the guys behind many of their recruitment videos, Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh (who worked on stunts for Bad Boys II, Speed, Spider-Man and many more), check out the third trailer below via Apple.

Synopsis:

When the rescue of a kidnapped CIA operative leads to the discovery of a deadly terrorist plot against the U.S., a team of SEALs is dispatched on a worldwide manhunt. As the valiant men of Bandito Platoon race to stop a coordinated attack that could kill and wound thousands of American civilians, they must balance their commitment to country, team and their families back home.

Act of Valor hits theaters on February 24h, 2012.
