Considering he helped bring the entertaining, informative documentary Side by Side to screens recently, we’ll have to give Keanu Reeves the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his 2013 slate. The actor, who hasn’t starred in a major release since 2008’s The Day the Earth Stood Still, has two projects this year, both that have been extensively delayed. His samurai epic 47 Ronin will hit theaters late this year after some rumored behind-the-scenes turmoil and before that one his independent features will be landing this spring.
Shot back in the early fall of 2010, we’ve now got the first trailer Mark L. Mann‘s Generation Um…, featuring Reeves’ character and his two girlfriends doing something around New York City. As one can tell, its an unfocused, underwhelming look — traits we hope the film doesn’t follow through with. Check it out below for the film also starring Bojana Novakovic and Adelaide Clemens, along with a new poster.
After partying in New York City last night, John and his beautiful girlfriends Mia and Violet form an intimate bond as their deepest secrets from their past are revealed. Friendships are tested and compromises are made as these three friends prepare to do it all again tonight.
Generation Um… arrives on May 3rd in theaters after an April 26th VOD bow.
