A trailer has been released for the upcoming action film The Tournament starring Ian Somerhalder, Kelly Hu, Ving Rhames, Robert Carlyle and which is directed by Scott Mann.
The film synopsis is as follows: Every seven years in an unsuspecting town, an event called The Tournament takes place, a battle royale between thirty of the world’s deadliest assassins. The last man standing receives a $10,000,000 cash prize and the title of World’s “numero uno” (which itself carries the legendary million-dollar-a-bullet price tag). The Tournament is set up by a group of sick high stake billionaires who watch the mayhem unfold via CCTV and bet on its outcome.
The film looks like your typical balls out action flick. But it looks like it could be fun. No release date has been announced yet.
