Sony Pictures Animation and Columbia Pictures have released the first teaser trailer for The Smurfs today and thanks to /Film we can now share it with you. The film is still a long way away, August 2011 to be exact, but the first footage is here. The cast features some pretty notable names like George Lopez, Katy Perry, Anton Yelchin, Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria. Being a teaser trailer we don’t see much. Still, something is better than nothing. Check it out below.
Never having been a fan of the show myself I can’t say I’m overly excited for this. The trailer really doesn’t give us much to go on. While the cast seems promising and I am a fan of Neil Patrick Harris, I can’t say I’m too excited for this one. At least not yet.
