After the poster premiere yesterday, CBS Films has released the first official trailer for the next Jason Statham film in which Jason Statham kicks a lot of ass, The Mechanic. This remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson thriller is from director Simon West (Con Air, Tom Raider). Statham plays the killer Jan-Michael Vincent, who takes on a apprentice, Ben Foster. Donald Sutherland also stars. The trailer features Statham saying some bad-ass things over Statham-y voiceover, then teaching someone else do some bad-ass Statham-y things for a final mission. In other words, I’ll be seeing it. Check out the trailer below via MSN.
