News recently flared up when Hong Kong billionaire Cecil Chao put out a simple challenge to the world. The rich man offered $65 million to any man who could woo his daughter, who happens to be a lesbian, into marriage. Now Hollywood has got their hands on the story and they’ve found got their own charming pick.
Although he tried, and failed, this summer to carry his shtick into non-mockumentary form with The Dictator, it certainly doesn’t take long for funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen to recover. He is already Paramount’s choice to to possibly star in the film as the billionaire, reports Deadline.
While I’d think he could perhaps be more entertaining as a possible husband, this elaborate real-life story sounds like a a perfect pick for the comedian. With this true story far from over, and no writer hired for the project yet, expect it to take awhile to get to screen. But for now, check out an interview with Chao below, thanks to CNN.
Can you see Cohen taking on this true-life story?
