Hollywood Snitch is reporting today that actor Edward James Olmos of Battlestar Galactica fame has stated that he will be joining the cast of the upcoming Green Hornet feature film. Olmos didn’t say who he will be playing or how big the role is so not much else can be told at this time. Olmos will be joining the already ensemble cast of Seth Rogen, Nicolas Cage, Cameron Diaz, and the recently announced Jay Chou. The film is set for a 2010 release and is being directed by Michel Gondry.
It seems like every day now we are hearing about new cast members joining The Green Hornet. I am ready for this film beyond words. I just wish they would stop casting already and get into production. The last thing I want to hear is that it is being pushed back so it can have more time.
The Green Hornet is set for a July 9th, 2010 release.
