/Film is reporting that there is a new leader in the race to be the director for Warner Bros. next Superhero film The Flash. The could be direct or Eli Stone and Everwood writer Greg Berlanti. This is an addition to his producer and co-writer credit with Michael Goldenberg. Berlanti was originally attached to direct Green Lantern before Martin Campbell intervened. Apparently, Berlanti has been chasing the ‘Flash’ job for a while.
Warner Bros. have been trying for a while now to put the story of Jay Garrick (depending on what time you’re reading the comic), a.k.a. The Flash, on the screen. The DC story is well fitting for the superhero hype Hollywood is in right now as Jay falls asleep in his laboratory while smoking and gains supper human reflexes and speed.
Do you think The Flash would make a good superhero movie?
