A new trailer for the upcoming sequel, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, written and directed by the returning Troy Duffy and starring Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus has been released by Sony and unlike the original trailer, this one is green band. Check out the trailer below.
This trailer does give off a much darker tone than the original one did but this one looks like a rush job. The trailer doesn’t looks nearly as entertaining as the first one did and if I had seen this trailer first I might have been a bit worried. Also, the astute viewer will note that this trailer does not say that the film is coming out 10/30 but rather just uses the generic “Coming This Fall” Did Sony push back the date? I doubt it but it is an interesting fact to be noted.
Also, just a quick reminder, in the coming weeks TFS will be releasing a series of interviews done with a majority of the cast and some of the crew of the upcoming film, so stay tuned.
