Darren Lynn Bousman‘s next project 11-11-11 has only been in production for a few weeks, but the director has already released the first teaser for the movie. With only two weeks of footage to go on, there isn’t much to see but it does give you a good idea of what kind of movie it is shaping up to be and it’s definitely something interesting. At the same time though, its numbers-obsessed plot reminds me of The Number 23 but with religious undertones and I don’t know if that’s going to be a positive or a negative. Synopsis: Penned by Bousman, after the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his enstranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it’s a WARNING!
The release date for 11-11-11 is easy to guess.
