With the many music documentaries released recently – including Sound CityMuscle Shoals, and Broadway Idiot just this year –  it’s a wonder there are still subjects left to cover. While there’s no shortage of acts, not every band or pop sensation has a legendary story to tell or a horde of screaming fans to satisfy. But some moments warrant being immortalized on film, and this newest one comes courtesy of one of England’s biggest rock groups.

A trailer was released for Made of Stone, which chronicles the much-anticipated 2012 reunion of the Stone Roses. Directed by Shane Meadows (This Is England), the film captures the band as they prepare for three record-breaking homecoming concerts at Manchester’s Heaton Park. Besides providing an exclusive look at the sold-out shows, the footage also contains never-before-seen material of the band’s history, and personal experiences of those touched by the four members and their music.
