Someone at 20th Century Fox should be getting some overtime pay as this Saturday they’ve revealed a whole host of new release dates. If one cuts through the white noise that are the sequels to Avatar and Deadpool, as well as X-Men spin-offs, there’s a few prominent additions to the their schedule.
First up, Steve McQueen will finally return on November 16, 2018 with Widows, his crime drama that has assembled the epic cast of Viola Davis, Cynthia Erivo, André Holland, Elizabeth Debicki, Michelle Rodriguez, Daniel Kaluuya, Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell, and Robert Duvall. Before that, Steven Spielberg‘s Pentagon Papers drama — once titled The Post — starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep will arrive this year, specifically on December 22, 2017.
Other updates include delays of both Shane Black‘s The Predator and the Jennifer Lawrence-led Red Sparrow, while Bryan Singer‘s Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, which Rami Malek was circling, will open on December 25 of next year. Check out the studio’s new schedule below.
