It looks like British actor Stephen Graham has passed the fake breast test, as Production Weekly reports he is in talks to join Rob Marshall‘s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. You may know Graham from Public Enemies, This Is England, Gangs of NY, Band of Brothers and most memorably Guy Ritchie‘s Snatch as Tommy. He will play the character of Scram. Hopefully it’s not as small as a part as another British actor, The Office‘s Mackenzie Crook, in the previous two films.
This is definitely a welcome addition next to Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane. Disney seems to be doing all the right things in getting us interested in a tired franchise.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is shooting in Hawaii this summer and will be released on May 20, 2011.
