When there is a poster premiere, you know a trailer is soon to follow. Such is the case with Sofia Coppola‘s next film, Somewhere. The trailer, which debuted on Apple, features music from her current partner (and father of her two children), Thomas Mars, lead singer of Phoenix. Like Lost In Translation and Marie Antoinette he is contributing to the score for this film. The film also stars Stephen Dorff, Elle Fanning and Chris Pontius. Check out the trailer below.

Synopsis: Writer/director Sofia Coppola reunites with the film company with which she made the Academy Award-winning hit “Lost in Translation.” Her new film is an intimate story set in contemporary Los Angeles; Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff) is a bad-boy actor stumbling through a life of excess at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood. With an unexpected visit from his 11-year-old daughter (Elle Fanning), Johnny is forced to look at the questions we must all confront.

Lost In Translation is one of my favorite films of the last decade and this is looking more in that vein than Antoinette. I simply can not wait.

Somewhere hits theaters December 22nd.
