Walt Disney Pictures has released, via Moviefone, a second full-length trailer for Tangled, a revamped version of the Disney classic Rapunzel. The film is directed by Byron Howard and Nathan Greno. Check out the trailer after the cut.

Tangled is an action-packed, swashbuckling, animated musical comedy about the girl (Mandy Moore) stuck in a tower with 70 feet of long blonde hair. She is reinvented here as a feisty princess longing for an adventure after spending 18 years in locked away in a tower. When dashing bandit Flynn (Zachary Levi) takes refuge in the tower she takes the opportunity to break free from her prison and escape into the real world. With the secret of her royal heritage hanging in the balance and her captor in pursuit, Rapunzel and her cohort find adventure, heart, humor, and hair… lots of hair.

The first teaser trailer for Tangled had skeptics questioning Producer Ron Conli’s promise of a “stunning CG fantasy world” but in this trailer we can clearly see that Pixar isn’t the only one that can produce beautiful animation. Disney has modernized the Brothers Grimm tale of Rapunzel, giving it the same elements that helped bring Shrek to life –  independant girl, stubborn boy, side-kick, adventure, romance and, of course, comedy.

Tangled opens in limited theaters on November 12 before going on wide release on November 24
