Robert Redford is currently finishing up The Conspirator, the film about the conspiracy behind Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. It stars James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Evan Rachel Wood, Justin Long, Alexis Bledel, and Toby Kebbell. Now, according to Variety (via The Playlist) he has in next film lined up.

The Hurt Locker producers Nicholas Chartier and Greg Shapiro will take on the adaptation of Neil Gordon‘s The Company You Keep. Lem Dobbs, who has worked with Steven Soderbergh on Kafka, The Limey and the upcoming Knockout, has written the script which “centers on a small-town lawyer and father who finds himself involved in a murder investigation linked to members of a radical group in the late ’70s, and must embark on a cross-country manhunt to clear his name.”

The Company You Keep will shoot this summer.
