Photos from the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 have surfaced, as the epilogue scene for the Potter film franchise is filmed at Kings Cross Station. A word of warning to those who have not read the final Potter book, the following pictures and information do contain spoilers.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, ends with an epilogue set nineteen years after the war between good and evil. We see the offspring of the surviving characters board the Hogwarts Express in a finale that brings the whole series full circle.

Director David Yates has decided to age the actors using the traditional method of make-up and wigs rather than digitally aging them with CGI. From looking at the photos, the result looks surprisingly realistic and is an impressive show of what the make-up department can accomplish without the help of computers.

The actors had their heads covered by grey cloth as they arrived at the set but there was no hiding their transformations from the fans who were at the busy London train station while the Potter stars filmed the final scenes.
