I distinctly remember seeing the first trailer for Piranha 3D in front of Avatar all the way back in December. But where has it been since? Well, it looks like Trailer Addict can give you another look.
Piranha 3D is a remake of Joe Dante‘s 1981 cult classic Piranha. It is directed by High Tension and Hills Have Eyes remake director Alexander Aja. Aja is a very talented director but this will be somewhat new territory for him since it clearly looks like its embracing the camp of a 3D horror movie; all his other films were extremely brutal and at least took themselves somewhat seriously. I’m also interested to see two character actors I really admire; Adam Scott and Paul Scheer.
Piranha 3D will hit theaters on August 27th.
