A few days ago we reported that Paramount had passed on a Anchorman sequel, even after Adam McKay got the cast and production to lower their budget. Now, like McKay’s news broke, Ben Stiller reports via Twitter that we won’t be seeing Derek Zoolander either.
Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks.
In February we reported that Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2 writer Justin Theroux would direct/co-write Zoolander 2 with Ben Stiller. Jonah Hill was rumored to play the villain, but for now, we won’t be seeing the project.
