There seems to be no love for Jim Carrey‘s upcoming film ‘I Love You Phillip Morris‘. Cinematical brings us news today that the film has suffered a delay once again. The film has been completed for some time and was supposed to hit theatres way back in the Spring of 2009. Since then, it has been hit with delay after delay. The most recent release date was for July 2010 but now we learn that we may have to wait a little longer for the film.

The release comes courtesy of an ongoing leagal battle between the US distributor, Consolidated and the company that is providing financial backing, EuropaCorp. Without getting into great detail, the legal battle is a he-said/she-said yelling match between the two companies. Today a California judge took the side of EuropaCorp and halted the film’s release. Consolidated is now looking at an October 2010 release. Hopefully they will make it this time because a lot of people are quite eager to see this film, myself included.

Are you upset it has been delayed once again?
