New stills of Disney’s Tron: Legacy have emerged via /Film. They mostly consist of shots from the new trailer which will be attached to Alice in Wonderland this Friday. It was also recently announced on /Film that the film will feature 5 scenes in an extended aspect ratio, only in IMAX 3D. Check out the images below.

The photos feature Garlett Hedlund playing Sam Flynn, the movies lead character. Geeks, such as myself, will notice he is approaching and entering the now abandoned Flynn’s Arcade where Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges) used to run an arcade with his own programed arcade machines before he got digitized by the Master Control Program into a video game world.

So far, the looks like it’s being shot beautifully, regardless of how good/bad the movie is. Seeing a throw back to Flynn’s got the geek in me excited. On top of that the films score is being done electronica group Daft Punk which is incredibly fitting.

Tron: Legacy hits theaters this December in IMAX 3D.

What do you think of the new pics? Will you sit through Alice In Wonderland just to see the new trailer?
