Despite the certainty of the dueling Linda Lovelace biopic up in the air, the other one is moving forward with full steam. Today we’ve got a new poster for Lovelace, the biopic of the ’70s pornstar from Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jerry Friedman. Starring Amanda Seyfried, one can see Peter Sarsgaard, Juno Temple, James Franco, Sharon Stone, and many more as you can see below. Following that comes a biopic of a different kind, with the first sales art for Ron Howard‘s Formula 1 racing drama Rush, starring The Avengers, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Cabin In The Woods star Chris Hemsworth. He portrays James Hunt, while Daniel Brühl plays his rival Formula 1 racer Niki Lauda and the cast also includes Olivia Wilde and Christian McKay.
We’ve also got posters for two different independent, festival films starring the excellent Elizabeth Olsen, who broke out in Martha Marcy May Marlene last year. Premiering at Sundance (our review here), this first poster for Josh Radnor‘s Happythankyoumoreplease follow-up Liberal Arts was floating around the fest but is now in high-resolution. While I enjoyed that film, there isn’t much to like about her other indie Peace, Love & Misunderstanding. I posted some thoughts with the trailer, but this new poster certainly matches the lackluster effort Bruce Beresford displayed behind the camera. There’s also a new, atrociously Photoshoped poster for Predisposed starring Melissa Leo, Tracy Morgan and Jesse Eisenberg. We didn’t get chance to see at Sundance, but I certainly hope it is better than its marketing materials.
Lastly we’ve got a poster for The Amazing Spider-Man, which looks nearly identical the rest. You already know everything there is to know about this movie and you’ll learn even more this week with a new trailer debut, so let’s get on with it and see all the posters below via Latino Review/IMPAwards.
