Talk about selling what you got – and selling it well. Angelina Jolie is the star of Salt, and she is very beautiful and cool-looking. And look at that hair! And those eyes! And that photo-shopped skin! Alright, enough kidding around. The poster actually works really well – flaunting a sort-of tech-fused simplicity that seems to offer far more than it does. Let us not forget the provocative tagline: “Who is Salt?” Raise your hand if you want to know.

Speaking of wonderful taglines against strikingly simple one-sheets of a movie stars, here is the new poster for Crazy Heart, the country music indie that will apparently earn Jeff Bridges his first Oscar, Mickey Rourke-The Wrestler style (oh wait, he got robbed last year). Past grudges aside, this poster focuses on the man and his music, offering one of the best taglines in years: “The Harder The Life, The Sweeter The Song.” Well done, PR people, well done.
