After kicking off Phase II of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this May to the tune of over $1.2 billion with Iron Man 3, the non-stop train continues this winter with another sequel, this time for Thor. While Kenneth Branagh was off crafting Jack Ryan, director Alan Taylor stepped in to handle Thor: The Dark World, bringing back our main duo of Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
A new trailer has now landed, which has to reference a bit about The Avengers destruction in New York and includes more large-scale action, which should please fans. Check out the new trailer and poster below for the film also starring Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Jaimie Alexander, Rene Russo and Anthony Hopkins.
