There’s something about these new theatrical posters for upcoming actioners that make them seem like glossy videogame mock-ups. It is somewhat fitting, since they both are aiming for that demographic. First up is a new poster for Taylor Lautner‘s action vehicle Abduction, directed by John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious, Four Brothers, Boyz n the Hood, Shaft). We already got a look at the ridiculous trailer, but you can check out the poster for the film also starring Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Jason Isaacs, Maria Bello, Michael Nyqvist, and Sigourney Weaver below via Yahoo!.
The brand-new trailer premieres tonight at 7:30PM EST, but we have a new poster for Joe Johnston‘s Captain America: The First Avenger. The film stars Chris Evans, Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Neal McDonough and Derek Luke. I don’t like it as much as the first poster, or the Hitler-punching one, but it will do for now. Check it out below via Yahoo! and come back tonight for the second theatrical trailer.
