Two more have joined the cast of Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer‘s comedy 30 Minutes or Less. THR reports that Michael Pena (Observe and Report, Crash) and Nick Swardson (Reno 911!, Blades of Glory) will join Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari.
The film “revolves around a junior high history teacher (Ansari) and a pizza-delivery man who are forced to rob a bank when one of them is strapped to a bomb vest.” Pena will play a “tattooed assassin” while Swardson will be “McBride’s best friend.”
I loved Pena with his comedic turn in last year’s Observe and Report. It’s nice to see he is coming back to the genre. Nick Swardson is just as funny and its nice to hear he will actually get his own Comedy Central sketch comedy show this fall, Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time.
30 Minutes or Less will shoot this summer.
