Considering the sheer amount of soon-to-arrive, anticipated projects both actors are involved in, we somewhat pushed Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard‘s Macbeth to the back of our mind. However, with the recent arrival of news that we may see it before the end of the year and the first images, it quickly moved to the forefront.
A new image from Empire’s latest issue (via a Fassbender fan site) has now dropped for the William Shakespeare adaptation, which features our leading duo, as well as a glimpse at another location in the film, helmed by Justin Kurzel. While it can be seen below, we’ve also included an extensive chat with the director around the premiere of his stunning debut film Snowtown. Currently streaming on Netflix, we highly recommend catching up on it to get a sense of the visual style the director will hopefully bring to his high-profile sophomore effort.
