Although he’ll be celebrating his 70th birthday next year, Danny Trejo still retains that bad-ass quality many action stars can only hope to at that age. For his next effort, he’ll be returning to the role of Machete for Robert Rodriguez and this morning brings a new, full-length trailer. With Sin City: A Dame to Kill For now delayed nearly a year, this new look packs much more silly, hopefully fun, action, which tide us over until next summer.
Led by Danny Trejo, the ensemble for the film includes Lady Gaga, Cuba Gooding Jr., Sofia Vergara, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Edward James Olmos, William Sadler, Mark Zaror, Antonio Banderas, Demián Bichir, Charlie Sheen and Mel Gibson, with the latter two perhaps being worth the price of admission. Synopsis:
In MACHETE KILLS, Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent MACHETE, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.
