Actor/comedian Kevin James will play Vince Vaughn’s best friend in his upcoming Ron Howard “comedy about infidelity.” [Deadline Hollywood]
The screenplay’s written by Allan Loeb, who’s been killing it recently with Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps in the can and an Escape From New York remake on deck.
James will play Vaughn’s best friend, whose wife Vaughn catches cheating with someone else. The film’s about Vaughn’s conflict in telling or not telling his friend about the affair.
It sounds like an extension of James’ role as patsy in Hitch.
