It’s a bright, new world for Keanu Reeves in a post-John Wick career. After a few years of duds, he once again proved his action chops and while a sequel to the actioner is on the horizon, today brings a look at his next project. Coming from Eli Roth, Knock Knock follows two women (Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas) who show up at his door and he succumbs to their temptations, but as he’s a married family man, retribution comes knocking. We now have a new trailer for the film, the first full-length one.
We said in our review out of Sundance, “With a mixed bag of a script, the contrivances and forced exposition stand out, but Roth’s giddiness, the well-executed jokes, and the three performances are not overshadowed by Knock Knock‘s problems. Hopefully Roth continues to make movies this playful.” Check out the trailer below, along with the Roth-presented, Guillermo Amoedo-directed horror thriller The Stranger, which arrives on June 12th. While Knock Knock doesn’t have a U.S. date yet, it’ll hit the U.K. on June 26th.
