Johnny English made just $28 million when it hit US theaters in 2003. So, why a sequel? The Rowan Atkinson comedy took in $132.5 million in the UK and other territories off of a $40 million budget, hence Johnny English Reborn. The sequel will hit our shores this fall and we have the first trailer from Yahoo (via Bleeding Cool). Synopsis:
Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the accidental secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn.
