Jeremy Irons is the latest member of the already stellar cast of the upcoming film, Margin Call. According to The Playlist, the film revolves around eight individuals who work at a financial firm. The film takes place during the first 24 hours of the U.S. financial crisis. The cast is looking great as it boasts names like Zachary Quinto, Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Demi Moore, Simon Baker, Stanley Tucci, Mary McDonnell and Penn Badgley. Now you can add Irons to that list.Quinto is producing and behind the camera will be JC Chandor. The film is already three weeks into the shoot so expect more news on it soon.
It’ll be interesting to see how Americans respond to Margin Call and Wall Street 2. Both films deal with the financial crisis and I’m not sure how Americans will react to the films. The financial crisis is still fairly recent, is it too soon to be making films about it?
