Cinematical tells us that actress Jennifer Love Hewitt (The Tuxedo, I Know What You Did Last Summer) wants to play the role of Wonder Woman in the upcoming Warner Bros. film. Not only does she want the role but she is fighting hard for it. Hewitt was recently quoted as saying “I really want to play Wonder Woman, I’m obsessed with Wonder Woman.” This isn’t the first time she has expressed interest in the role. She talked about wanting to play Wonder Woman last year as well.The film hasn’t made any progress lately and is still in the very early stages of development, Warner Bros. promised us that it is still active though. That being said, the film is still a long ways away and it will be years until it hits the silver screen. Hewitt may be to old for the role by the time the project finally gets going.
I think they should look at someone younger for the role, possibly Megan Fox, depending on how she handles her upcoming role in Jonah Hex. I just can’t see Hewitt playing a superhero. Who knows though, this film is still so early in development that really anything can happen.
