Today we have trailers for two smaller independent documentary films. The first is for It Might Get Loud. This documentary is directed by Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth) and tells a story about the electric guitar from the point of view of three significant rock musicians: The Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White. The second is for the directorial debut of Louie Psihoyos. The Cove tells the story of dolphin abuse in Japan. Check them both out in HD after the jump.
It Might Get Loud:
The Cove:
I heard great buzz from It Might Get Loud last September when I attended the Toronto International Film Festival. Unfortunately I missed the screening for it. The Cove looks very interesting as well. Can’t wait to see this two docs, although it would be hard for a documentary to be better than Anvil!: The Story of Anvil this year.
It Might Get Loud hits theaters August 14th, 2009 and The Cove is released on July 31st.
Are you looking forward to these two docs? What have been your favorite of the year so far?
